Why aren't there more games like Magicka and Killzone: Liberation? I think the genre is called Isometric Shooter. I have to say it's one of my favorite gameplay genres. And it's easily transferrable to consoles/portables/phones. Wouldn't it just make more sense to make a game like that instead of a gimmicky fps for a platform with no physical controls? or with no dual analogs?

I imagine a Metal Gear title would benefit greatly from it, even throwing it back to its roots. So would a GTA game for portables. Hell, a Metroid game would be perfect with a puzzle based isometric view.
